Delete your Kairoscope account
You can delete your Kairoscope account from the app, or by email without opening the app. This page explains both paths, what is deleted, and what stays on your device.
Delete in the app
Open Kairoscope, then go to Settings → About → Delete account. Confirm the prompt. This deletes your Firebase Auth account and the private synced data we hold on your behalf.
Delete without opening the app
Email privacy@kairoscope.app from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will process email requests promptly.
You do not need to open the Kairoscope app to use this path.
What is deleted
Account deletion removes:
- Your Firebase Auth account
- Private synced data we hold on your behalf: moments, reports, Kairoscope requests, and Kairoscope readings
What stays on your device
Raw journal text and attached media are stored only on your device. They are not synced to our servers. Uninstalling Kairoscope removes that local data from the device.
Anonymized aggregates
If you previously opted in to share insights, those anonymized aggregates cannot be linked back to your identity and remain part of the global averages after deletion, by design.
